This is going to be a long one.......

Ana came into town on a very last minute trip. We had lunch with "the Girls" I didn't get a picture of everybody else. Anyway it was fun to have a quick visit. The funny thing was the weather was pretty cool, and Ana is from Arizona. It was only in the 50's and lower 60's while she was here. She kept saying "this is winter weather, I'm cold!" Which when you live in AZ for a few years, and adjust to the extremely high heat, you are cold when it is 60 degrees! Nathan went to a concert that was quite good. Maybe not so much for the music, but because there were about 12 girls for every guy there! The band was Second hand Serenade.
While Nathan was getting his faux hawk done, the Princess got one to.
Did I mention that I have spent the last 8 days with the Princess?
Well I have been having a ball. It is so awesome to have somebody around who is truly happy to see you in the morning. I got big smiles and hugs every morning. And when she first got here her Grandpa was in Japan. We didn't think of using Skype while he was gone. Then all of the sudden we remembered it. Well the first call she got excited but grandpa didn't have a web cam, so she could hear him and not see him. That made her start to get a little sad. So he called again using a friends web cam. She was so happy, because she could see him. Then it was sad because she started holding a toy up to show him, but we didn't have our camera set up, so he couldn't see it. I told him she is showing you her giraffe, so he talked to her about it. She was happy.

She had lot's of snacks at grandma's mostly green grapes, but some mango and bananas too.

I learned a lot this week. I learned that a cute little girl, can make a brooding teenage boy turn to mush. She just has to look at him and smile and he is a goner. She can do it with an old grandpa too. She will watch "man shows" with her grandpa, American Gladiators, and yes he took her to see "The Hulk", but it will rile her up. She starts yelling, and running, and laughing at the loud parts. One little baby girl can demolish a house, well maybe just the living room, and Grandma didn't clean anything else because she was to busy playing with her!

So on Fathers Day we went to Mike's sister's house. Her son is leaving on a mission, and they had a farewell for him. There was a crowd there, he is quite loved and there were tons of people there to see him off.

Erin with her Aunt.

Grandpa letting the Princess sit in the front, her mom was not amused!

Erin with her cousin and below with the Missionary cousin.

It was fun to have the princess for so long. We got really used to each other. We are both going to go through withdrawals next week. We had fun things we did to bond, we would watch U Tube. There is some fun Muppet and sesame street stuff. Grandma painted her toenails, but they were so tiny that her Uncle had to hold her foot for me. The fun thing was while she was hear with her mom and me, her dad and grandpa were together in Las Vegas. They both had shows in Vegas, different shows, but they got together a time or two.

Her first tuna sandwich. See grandma can feed her more than cookies!

I loved reading an update on your cute family! You are such a great grandma. I bet Erin just loves you to pieces, not to mention her little one! I forgot Stephanie Meyer came out with her new book this May. I guess that's happens when you move away from the Utah hub, where certain authors are more prominent due to population density! Only a handful of people in our ward have ever heard of Stephanie and the infamous Twilight series! Can't wait for the movie. BTW-I love your hair, even though it is hard to recreate what the stylist does, you still did a great job. And Heather has learned how to wax EVERTHING, so give her a call and she can help you with the leg hair! She says it hurts like heck, but the hair takes forever to grow back. Might be worth a little bit of pain!
