I got my fix!

This is the greatest accomplishment this week. The freezer that I have meant to defrost everyday for months. Got defrosted this week. this was major because I had some thick ice buildup on those shelves!

Then I had a follow up appointment this week and this cute guy went with me!

Then we got home that afternoon, and my Princess called me and said "I go your house." I said, "I want you to go my house." she said "OK." so our girls came over for the rest of the day. It was heaven!

This one is just at that perfect baby stage. Happy and laughing, fat and squishy and all over just sweet!

She is at that stage that the sun rises and sets with her momma!

The princess got here and had to do all of her stuff. She is so dang smart, she remembers everything. When I watched her a few weekends ago I bought her a little hello kitty toy. It was cute, but I decided that it was a little to old for her. (The parts were tiny.) So when she left I hid it. She took a couple of trips, and done ton's of things in that almost 3 weeks since she was here. But in the first 5 minutes she was asking for the kitty toy. 

In this picture she is playing "My tea party" with papa. She loves to play the "my" game, "my gamma", "my momma", "my papa." So they were playing "my tea party."

We all enjoyed having the girls here. It's fun to have "girls' in the family. this house is wreaking with testosterone!:-)

Hell and Hero's....

My hero, Mike. I have been pretty sick and he has taken such good care of me. Sitting at the hospital in uncomfortable chairs for hours at a time trying to help me. I have had a some set backs these few weeks. I had a second surgery to correct my problems last Sunday the 18th. A few to many visits to the ER my Doctor operated to get me out of pain. He feels like he found the problem and has fixed it. So things should be good!

I'm on my third week of broth and jell-o, I'm going insane. I'm just trying to keep my eye on the prize! But that prize is getting a little fuzzy!:-)

And now the real hell part is they are building an In-N-Out Burger in my town five minutes away!

This is my weakness. Burger King, McDonald's, Wendy's', I can take them or leave them.

But this is going to be a test of my resolve!

Then Great friends. My friend came to visit and brought me one of her favorite kinds of water. She said I brought you breakfast, lunch, and dinner!hahaha It sure does

seem like it. But I'm grateful to good friends who help me laugh.

(I'm really missing my girls. It's been over 2 weeks since I have seen them, I'm missing them worse than food!)

Fun!

Yikes what a week......

Mike had his surgery this week. He did excellent even better than me. I've been very impressed with him.

While we were waiting for his surgery, I had my first solid food. This is me eating it.

But my body was not ready for solid foods. So long story short I ended up in the ER, with my body in severe distress, and wasn't there for Mike when he got out of surgery. His surgery went very well the doctor was very pleased and I was very relieved.

This was my deli ham, that made me so sick.

And now this is what I can eat. they put me back on a liquid diet. Mike is happy because we are eating our 1 oz of sugar free jell-o and 1 oz of broth together. Tomorrow we move to soft foods yogurt, cottage cheese, and strained soups... 2 oz which is also 1/4 cup. Yummy! I have lost 25 pound since we started this entire thing. And around 15 pounds since my surgery. So that makes eating 1/4 cup of food 3 times a day more appealing!

Now because this is my family blog some normal stuff. I got a new calling this week. I was made the 2ND councilor to our new Relief Society President. The church has changed the enrichment program up completely. They got rid of "enrichment" all together. But I'm really anxious and excited about the new changes. They have left it to each ward what they can do. We could have a meeting a week, a month or every few months. We can do anything we think will be good and helpful for the ladies in our ward. I hope we will have a lot of fun, and create some great friendships!

Also Bea has been in heat, that is always fun. But this time the kids Erin and Jon want to breed her. So she was taken to a stud 2 days ago, but she wasn't that easy. Nothing happened they just played around. So she goes back today, I hope it takes how fun would it be to have a bunch of cute little fur balls running around here for a few weeks!

This morning!

Mike is just the sweetest husband, he was so nervous for my surgery yesterday. He was overly tired when he went to bed last night, and said it was all my fault!:-). I told him that I felt very calm, and I was going to be fine. He said he knew that but, he was still worried. It's probably all a big cover up, and he is super nervous for his surgery next week!

I have had a lot of phone calls, and messages and it really has made me feel so good, so loved! With all of these prayers going out for me it has to be fine. I do wonder how I will react. Some people are fine in a few days and others take a few weeks. Hopefully I will be a quick healer. There is a little part of me that is thinking, why are you about to go put yourself through all of this pain! But I'm doing it to get healthy. I just keep that in mind, healthy, healthy, healthy, maybe I should have Issy make me up a healthy song!:-)

I woke up at 5:00. Nathan doesn't have school today, so I could have slept in if I could have slept. I got up and cleaned my bathroom and did a load of laundry. Things I didn't get done while the girls were here. 

This is going to be an interesting week!:-)

The girls..... (There is no spell check on this new version of blogger! yikes)

We had the girls for a few days this week. Little Miss smiley pants was ever so smiley. We really enjoyed her, she and her papa did a little bonding. This is a picture of her eating some cracker. She would wrinkle up her nose and smack her little gums together. She was to cute. All she had to do was make eye contact and smile at one of her uncles and they were down on the floor kissing and playing with her. Actually she will just stare into your eyes, all of the boys have said to me, "it's like she is staring into my soul!" But she made us happy with her smiles!I took this picture picture and then my camera battery died. Just after this picture Issy actually smiled. Issy was holding on to her sister, then Elizabeth turned her head Issy's hand hadn't moved and next thing you know Issy was holding Elizabeths eye. Elizabeth wasn't bothered at all.

I charged my battery and told Issy to let me take her picture. She was silly and made the sad face. She laughed about it after and I got another picture of her happy.

Elizabeth was very interested in the dog. She really enjoyed watching Beatrice.

Issy is at a great stage. She loves to sing and her papa and I sung "itsy bitsy spider" and "popcorn popping" at least 10 times each. Then Issy makes up her own songs. So she said, "sing my, My Name is Issy Song." So Mike and I sang her little song..... my name is Issy, my name is Issy, my name is Issy. It was a very simple song:-) She also has a "clean up" song, she sings when she picks her toys up. I ran to the grociery store with her. Her papa called and ask us to bring him a diet coke. Well a few mintues later she started singing "diet coke, diet coke, diet coke....." She is a cutey. She uses the Oh' exclamation she says "Oh, I love your jack-o-lantern, ... Oh, I love your tree...." She is so fun. I have to write these things down, so when she is 16 and rolling her eyes at her crazy old grandma I can remember why I love her so much! Erin and Jon are going to be gone another day, but I had my surgery coming up. So Erin had her very dear friends Jessica and Monica Buchannan wacth them after us. They came last night and picked the girls up. Issy was so excited she said "I go with my Monicas." She thinks that is what they are called, like aunts, but they are monicas. I love those girls and I'm glad Erin has such great friends up here!

As for me I have been hungry! I have been trying to do the 1000 calorie a day diet, and it's a mental thing, this is going to be interesting!

I go in at 10:30AM tomorrow. I really am grateful for all of your support, well wishes and prayers. It truly means a lot to me! 

A very fast week.....

Wow, I don't know how to work the pictures on this new blogger format. But I am so far behind. So here goes: Last Friday Mike and I visited  Kris and Guy, we spent the afternoon there and enjoyed ourselves. Then on Saturday we went to visit the kids. We had lunch and watched a movie in their theater room. 

Mike played with Issy so long he was pooped when we left. But the girls are so cute you just can't help it!

Then they came over on Sunday and had dinner and played. Issy loves to go to my garden. (which is now gone because of the weather.) But I let her pick the vegetables and when she got the zucchini she said "pickle," and was so excited. I'm going to have to figure this stuff out I like to have my pictures so that I can comment on each one.

Also kind of last minute I found out I am having my surgery on Monday the 5th. So things have been crazy this week trying to get all of the preregistration, and medical testing, and classes finished. That is all out of the way now. I just have to show up at the hospital on Monday morning and it's all done. I have a feeling this is going to be one very long weekend!
