The last day and the greatest moment!

Well on Dad and Jared's last day we went and took care of some family business. We went to my dads parents graves. Their headstone has been sinking into the ground. They tried to lift it but it was just to heavy. My Uncle was upset with my dad that he hadn't gone when he was here a few weeks ago. So he went this trip and I brought the camera for proof:-)
They are buried across from a military plot.

There were a lot of cool and interesting tombstones. But this is my favorite. How handy is this? A bench so your family can sit and rest while they visit you.

Then we had to go eat at a Brazilian Barbecue, Jared wanted meat and roasted pineapple.
He got it!

Here we all are, very stuffed and content.

Jared got a slice of dreamsicle cheese cake. I thought it was pretty, and it was very yummy.

Then we ran over to the Harley store. Dad tried out a 3 wheeler.

Jared did a bit of shopping.

Then we came home and Erin brought Steven home from their 10 day trip to LA. We loved on the girls and were so excited to have them home from LA.

Elizabeth was a little sad so dad went up to her and started talking to her. she just started smiling at him and talking to him. He made her very happy.

Speaking of very happy... Issy came home talking up a storm. While she was spending 10 days in California she really started talking. As we were enjoying all of the word she was using. I took Elizabeth from Jared to hold her. Issy was playing and didn't notice. Then she turned around and saw Elizabeth on my lap and said very clearly, "that's my gamma." It was sheer heaven. I have been waiting for her to call me grandma since the day she was born. Then she said it many time last night,"my gamma, my gamma." It was a huge moment for me!

We got up this morning loaded the car. Said, good bye to everybody even the dog.

Then I drove them back to the airport and sent them back to Texas. It was really great to have them here. We all enjoyed our time with each other.

They've sure been up here a bunch. But then, you ARE their favorite child! And yeah, it's cool when you are a real person to these little people. You must be aching for some quiet, though. If you find any, put some in a box and set it aside, and I'll come and get it from you, okay?
