Our weekend in a million pictures......

First off this picture is out of order. But I can never move pictures around on my blog. So Nathan went to Lake Powell with the Young Men and camped and boated and all kinds of fun things. This is him getting home wanting a shower and being sore from tubing off the back of a boat. All of our boys were gone on a camp out in Friday night. So Mike and I woke up on Saturday and putzed around. Then we thought, let's go for a drive. So we hopped in the car and drove to Park City. We passed two lakes on the way. This was the second one. We went to walk around it a little bit and the garmin said Mike parked in the lake. I told him I didn't know if I could hold my breath that long!
It was a very pretty overcast breezy cool day, with just a few sprinkles.

Wow, certain people who shall remain nameless are really looking like grandparents now!

I love these trees they were all around the lake and this one was decorated with a bird on top!

This was a lodge you could go stay at. It was very appealing to us, but we had to get home:-)

When we got to park city I was a tad bit chilled and wanted Cafe Rio's chicken tortilla soup. So Mike took me there and got me soup. YUM!

Park City is full of "rich kids" and sometimes they are such dorks. This kid blew my mind. I didn't know anybody dressed like this anymore. I suppose I have been sheltered or he is about 5 years behind the trend. But his shirts he has a red t-shirt on under the white one, they came down to his knees. Then the back pockets on his pants started at the top of his calf. I don't know if he was wearing them around his knees or if the pockets were extra low. And he even had a little "bling" necklace on. We just laughed and thought he was a bit to extreme.

Leaving Park City we drove a loop and drove into Salt Lake. But there was a big storm in Salt Lake. So as we were driving into the canyon the temp. had to be in the 50's and the cloud had come down and were sitting on the mountains. We got into some heavy rain and lightening. We were loving it.

Then on Fathers Day all of the boys were back from their camp outs and Erin and Jon came over. They wanted to go outside for a while, but we started getting a big wind storm that brought cold air in with it. So Issy didn't have a jacket and tried to borrow her uncles. All I could say was "Help me Obiwankanobi your my only hope!" She looked like him, to me, in that jacket.

So my sweet little princess does not know how to smile. Her grandma has taken to many pictures of her and she thinks you close your eyes, and mouth when you get your picture taken. so Erin is working on teaching her to smile for the camera. This is her picture smile. It is a crack up especially beings she still hasn't cut all of her teeth yet.
So her uncles just enjoy her so much they will do anything for her, including watching a dorky movie. The princess loves dogs so the kids brought the movie "Hotel For Dogs" and Uncle Nate sat with her and watched.

The dog movie made Issy have extra loving feelings towards Beatrice. I'm not sure Beatrice appreciated it, but such is life.

The tiny princess was just sweet. She is just a little sweetheart.

I tried to get a shot of Issy holding her sister. Tiny Princess was fussing a little so Issy was telling her "shhhhhh." She had her finger in her mouth to do it, instead of over her lips. It was cute.
We had a very happy weekend.

Wow. What a wonderful weekend! By the way, moving the pictures around? If you look in the code (you can switch to that), you'll find the actually written stuff that places the pictures. You can cut and paste that wherever you like. I'll show you. It's WAY easy.

And Rena - you need to ask me also what "putz" means because you're gonna get yourself in trouble with that one.

Camp outs. We haven't been camping since Gin was about eight and the skunk went through our trash. The girls are getting so big. You and Mike - maybe you need to get rid of those dang boys. YOu make an amazingly romantic pair when you're alone, eh?

OK so Mike looked it up and had a good laugh. I have always heard that term. But never knew the full meaning of it. I actually think what I have heard meant ignorant people doing nothing and not the other:-)
