We made it!

The first 2 flights were OK the long flight from Pheonix to Philadelphia was tough, but the flight from Philly to Amsterdam was brutal. We were on a very old plane, we sat on it for 3 hours before we could take off, it had 3 different things that had to be fixed on it. And the last time we got out to the runway and had to turn around. So 3 hours later we took off. The only good news is that we were in first class, so we got a nice meal, and could really lean back in our chairs, and they didn't look anything like the picture I posted earlier they were old! Mike started getting a little panic attack he just couldn't sleep and he wanted to get off. We were on the plane for about 10 hours maybe more. Needless to say my shoulder and arm are hurting again. Not as bad as when it first happened but they are hurting. I don't know if it was from the flight or from me being so dumb and using my bad arm to try to sling my big heavy suitcase up on my bed the night before we left. I couldn't believe I had done that, it just felt fine and I forgot that it was hurt.

We got here at 11:00AM Amsterdam time, and 3:00AM Utah time. We were so tired by the time we got into the hotel we tried to just stay awaake but we took a little nap. Then showed and went off to find out how to get to the convension(sp?) center. We rode the tram and saw lots of little shops. The vacuums in the picture where just in a little shop we thought they were cute. At least a third of the people here ride bikes, mostly 1 speed, to get around. There are women in high heels and skirts, men in business suits, and all other kinds. They have these bike paths between the sidewalk and the street, but you learn very fast not to get on the bike paths, they will run you down! The little cars are funny and actually have 2 seats in them.
Mike is off to work and I'm getting ready to head out and look around, I'm excited it is pretty over here.
