~Just a note, I always forget to shrink my pictures, so if you click on these pictures you can see them much better they will be BIG.~
I can't believe that it is Saturday already. We went to the town of Edam. It is celebrating it's 550
Th year to be a town. This was a little cheese shop we went to. Oh my gosh, the walnut cheese was a little taste of heaven!

This is just a view from one of the many bridges that are in the town. Yes those are peoples back yards!

We had a very nice lunch with these sweet ladies (all of the ladies are
soooo nice). Harriet from Scottsdale and I are against the window Ann from England and the other lady, forgot her name, is from Ireland she was so funny cracking funny little jokes the entire time (some at my
expense:-). When we got our drinks they made a little toast, then when we started to eat they said some nice little thing, we don't do those nice little things in the U.S.

This is the view in the middle of town off of their dam. It was the
Ie river and so they called the town Edam. It wasn't
named for the cheese:-)

Oh and we went to a very, very old
Mennonite church. I was so dorky I just
assumed that they started in the U.S. But they started in Holland and fled from the
religious prosecution after that reform thing happened. They said they still had 16
Mennonites that attend church there every two weeks.
