Happy Anniversary Baby!
Well today is our Anniversary 78 years! Hahaha No just 26 years. Twenty six years of wedded bliss. How can one man handle the joy and excitement of being with me for 26 years? I want to joke that I was 10 or 12 years old when we married. But now that I live in Utah, where there are some sick-o people who do that, I have decided against it:-)
We had a little crazy weekend. We sent Chris home on Friday morning, so of course, we drove to the airport. Then Friday night Jessica came in and we traveled through a crazy snow storm to get her. The problem here when it snows or rains at night the lines on the road disappear. You end up driving in what you hope is a lane. We also had the princess with us. She was so good just stuck in her car seat for 2 hours. The next day I realised that Nathan had been sick for well over a week and wasn't getting better. I took him off to the urgent care. We found out he had a throat and ear infection plus, something else I don't even remember what it was. Mikes nephew flew in while Nate was at the doctors office. Off Mike went to the airport for the 3rd time in 2 days. We got James here, but I started crashing from all of the celebrating over the past month and I took a long nap. Thus setting a precedence for the rest of the weekend. Mike entertained his nephew. Generally when we have company I make sure everybody is fed and entertained. But Mike did it this time. I enjoyed watching him, and he enjoyed his time with James. This morning James and I got up and headed back to the airport. To get him on a shuttle to BYU Idaho. We started out about 5 minutes late and then ran into stand still traffic. I was saying prayers we would make it to the airport in time. And we did, he was only 5 minutes late. I took his picture for his mom and told him to hop on the bus and sit by a pretty girl. There seemed to be quite a few kids on the bus. He was off and happy, but I felt like a creepy aunt because I didn't send him off with any food. Like a lunch, some cookies, or even fudge. I just hadn't had time to regroup after Christmas. Poor guy left empty handed!

Sounds like you enjoyed having James. I'd have been glad to pick him up, too - so if you ever need me to do that kind of stuff - let me know. Driving in the snow is not fun. I used to do it every morning when I taught in the city up north - you'd start out on the road, and then realize that there were no longer any white lines, that you were just following the tracks of the person in front of you, who you really, really hope didn't end up driving off the edge of the freeway, plunging into somebody's back yard, far below. Scary.
Looks like the princess is actually IN Wall-e.
By the way, G thought he had posted to Char's blog the other day, but when he went back several days later, the comment wasn't there. So he tried again, and it seemed to save, but never showed up. Could that have happened to us?
