Quick Vacation......

Well Nathan, Michael, and I are on a quick and very small family vacation. Mike was told last week that it was going to be crazy for him this fall and he should go ahead and take some vacation time now. So with only 1 child in tow we took off for Nevada and Lake Tahoe. We were there yesterday and it was just beautiful. That lake blows my mind, it is so big that you actually get some good size waves coming in on the beach, you forget you aren't at the ocean.

We got up today and drove to San Fransico. Upon arrival we had to run an errand for Mike (he was going to over night something out for work yesterday, but when he looked up the address the people were in San Fransico, so we overnighted it in person:-). But we got here and it was foggy, cool in the 60's, and breezy. Which in the shade of all of the skyscrapers equalled to cold! I was blown away, coming from Arizona, that it was August the hottest month of the year and people were walking around with coats on! We went down to Fishermans Warf and walking around in the sunshine it was beautiful. We hit up the Ghirardellies chocolate shop and I suppose that is what we are having for dinner tonight, it's all we have been eating!:-)

Tomorrow we are off to Muir Woods it's supposed to be huge redwood trees. I can't upload pictures now I forgot my cord. But I will put some up when we get home. Hope all is well with everybody!
