200th post....

Well my blog manager tells me this is my 200th post. I had a few drafts, that I thought were lost so I rewrote them. But all together this is 200. So in honor of the 200th post I have the princesses first ponytail! I have been waiting for her to grow some hair, so I could do more stuff with it. When she comes to my house she knows where I keep the hair stuff and she pulls me to the drawer and laughs and says "up". So I gladly fix it for her. Well she and her father stayed with us while her mom went off for a fun getaway weekend. So I decided to throw caution to the wind and do a ponytail. And it was sooooo cute.

Then we went shopping with uncle Nate and got some stinky old video game, and a few things grandma needed.

And we also got a princess tea set. She loves the spoons out of this set the most.

So Saturday morning we got up and made her second ponytail and headed outside. She helped me do a few things in the yard and then she got mud on her shoes. It did not make her happy.

Now on to a little delima. This is "my artist," we call him my artist because I bought 2 of his water colors last year. Then I saw him again this year and my camera battery was dead, so Robin took this picture of him for me. When I saw him I told him I bought stuff from you last year I'm surprised to see you again. He told me I've been here for 17 years. So I suppose if I go next year I will see him again.

But I bought 2 more from him this year. I love rich colors and he has rich colors in his work.

This one was just beautiful, the colors blew me away. They don't quite come across in the picture.

This is my problem I framed the 2 I got last year and hung them on this wall. But I don't know what to do with my new ones. Part of me would like to keep them close together. But then I know this wall isn't that big. So if you have any ideas. I would love to here them. Decorating is not my talent!

Old enough for a ponytail - that's worth celebrating. How strange - and life will get even stranger -"Hi, Gram - this is my boyfriend, Howard . . ."

Well, the pony tail is precious just like Princess.... :) and I love the pictures too! Find room for them. And you do have a talent for decorating...you did a great job with the first two photos...duh...take a look "little missy"...ha...its very pretty the way you did the other two in nice frames and above the shelf. Now,just sit down and think about it... as little Princess makes us some tea. :) I mean... kool-aide. :) Loveya, Gina

Beautiful paintings! The little princess is getting so big. She looks just like Erin to me!
