I have the secret to Chick-fil-A chicken!

So I was watching a local daytime show yesterday. They had a chef on that was making his restaruants specialty "fried pickles" they actually looked good. Anyway as he was doing it he said that chick-fil-a marinated their chicken in pickle juice. Then he said he hoped they didn't get mad at him for tell that to us. Well I was making chicken today and decided to try it. I put the breast in a zip top bag and poured some pickle juice in it, I let it sit for a while. Then I cooked the chicken up and it worked!

I learned what I think is a better way to cook meats this year and I will share it with you. You get your pan add a little oil and let it get hot (on top of the stove). Then you place your meat on the hot pan and don't move it. I always moved the meat around as I waited for it to cook but that is wrong. Anyway, cook it without moving it and then flip it over and cook the otherside. That makes the meat get carmelized, it's yummy. Then you need to let your meat sit around 5 minutes or so without cutting into it, because as it cools down the natural juice redistribute back into the meat. This has made a big difference in my meats even my meatloaf.

Anyway, if you like chick-fil-a like I do you will like this recipe.

I like searing the meat so that you get that crispy exterior and the tender, juicy part inside.
