My friend came in......

So my friend Ana came into Salt Lake to visit me. It was fun to have somebody I could play with come into town. The only bummer is that we had to be busy running around doing my errands. So I have tried to make one big blog but my computer didn't cooperate so it's in chunks below.

Issy busy days......

We had some busy days lunch with grandpa.
Movies with Grandma and Ana. And grociery shopping wore her out. She had to relax in the Walmart she was so worn out!

So was Ana wore out. She was cold and a little tired so I let her her relax in my tub. But how twisted that I went and took a picture of it!

Saturday night....

We went out wit the kids Saturday night. It was fun, but it was cold.

I have noticed this week that Nathans features are changing some. He is starting to look more manly. I guess my baby is growing up!

Crafty blog.....

So I called this crafty lady in my ward, because Ana and I wanted to do a craft. She told me about this awesome store with cut wood that you can paint yourself. We got the big easter egg and some other fun stuff. I will show it as I get it done.

We also came up with these picture quote things ourselves. Mine is the one that says "A closed mouth gathers no feet." And I bought a plaque that says "And in the end it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years." (Abraham Lincloln) So Ana loved that and she did that quote. The bummer is we don't know how to scapbook any more. So we know we could embelish these with something and make them even cuter, we just don't know with what!

Super bowl.......

Ok this is strange I know, but I talk about Jimmy Smits at the end of this post. Then my sis-in-law said she didn't know who he was so I grabbed a picture of him and tried to put it at the end of the post and here it is at the top. One day I will learn how to work this blog stuff!

Well after shoveling snow all day (at least it seemsed like it) Erin, Jon, and Issy came over to watch the Super Bowl. Gina's husband Chris had sent us a smoked turkey and it came just in time for us to have it at our little party. It was so yummy and came to us all the way from Tyler, Texas.





We ate and watched the game and Issy had a pickle for the first time and liked it!



Mike was flying to New York City early this morning, but he went through Phoenix to get there. His flight got cancelled, and he was put on a later flight, so he was in Phoenix for the day. He is flying to NY tonight. He said all of the NY people are very happy, so it should be a good flight. He also ran into Cuba Gooding Jr. heading into his "travelers club", Cuba was coming out. But last week when he was in California he literally ran into Jimmy Smitz (sp?). I said, "did you say anything to him?" He said, "Yah, I said excuse me." So he didn't bother either one or take any pictures. But it would have been fun. Instead you have to look at pictures of our princess!:-)

Crazy snow....

We woke up to a whole lot of snow. Mike went out and cleared the drive way and the sidewalks at church. Then he came home and showered and dressed and there was a bunch of snow covering everything again. Mike and Steven got home from church before Nathan and I and had to help 2 neighbors "shovel" their driveways. And a lot of people got stuck in their driveways today like I did last week. Which makes me feel better about myself:-)

Anyway our lawn mower is awesome, but there was just to much snow for it. So now Mike has something he wants to buy for next year, a 4 wheeler! Note the picture of our neighbor able to push more snow at a time than us. Everybody was out after church today clearing off their driveways and sidewalks. This was our extreme weather, equal to the bother of 117 plus degree hot summers in AZ. The pictures of Steven are after they helped the neighbors, there is an older couple around the corner. They have been gone all week and that is their house Steven is shoveling. Somewhere under all of that snow is a driveway. Steven had to quit after clearing their sidewalks, their driveway was full of hard icey snow. Everybody at church is saying this is the most snow in at least 10 years. But they also say we really needed it, Moistier!

Stuck......

So I left my house kind of in a hurry on Wed. morning. The snow plows had come through and cleared the snow off of the streets and thrown it into our driveways. Actually it just throws the snow to the side of the street, but our driveway is on the side of the street:-) So later that afternoon I came home and drove into my driveway, well my car got stuck and I was barely in my driveway. I thought well I will back out and gun it and get further up onto the driveway. I was wrong, my car got stuck halfway in the street. So Nathan, Charlie, and I tried our best to get the snow cleared away, but everytime I tried to move the tires just spun and the car didn't move. Nathan started chopping away at the ice around the tire. After a good 30 mintues, a kind man who had been driving a dump truck past our house pulled over and got out and helped the boys push the car out. You can't tell so much by the picture but the road infront of our house is narrow. Everytime 2 cars met infront of my car one car had to stop to let the other car go by. So needless to say we were stressed out. Thank goodness for kind helpfull people. Charlie went down and shoveled the second driveway while Nathan worked on the ice.

Then yesterday Issy hung out with grandma all day so there is a picture of her chillin with Uncle Nate.
